Il film "Schindler's list"

Il film "Schindler's list" è tratto dalla vita dell'industriale tedesco Oskar Schindler che, fino al film di Spielberg, era sconosciuto. Durante la dittatura, mostra coraggio e umanità rischiando addirittura la propria vita per salvare quasi mille duecento ebrei (la famosa lista) che sarebbero morti nel campo di Auscwitz.

Oskar Schindler si trasferì a Cracovia per arricchirsi e invece, finì col salvare gli ebrei destinati a morire. Iniziò ad avere contatti con altri ufficiali nazisti corrompendoli con regali di lusso. Pur continuando a fare affari, cominciò a salvare più ebrei che poteva. Perdendo tutto ciò che aveva guadagnato, comprò una fabbrica di pentole e si trasferì nella sua città natale. Inizialmente inizia a farsi assegnare centinaia di ebrei come operai, sembrava sfruttarli e invece li salvò. Quando la persecuzione divenne più tremenda, la sua idea diventa una vera missione: comprò le vite di quasi mille duecento ebrei, lì portò nella sua fabbrica.

Oggi, nelle enciclopedie dei nomi dei criminali di guerra, mancano quelli dei "gusti fra i popoli" come vengono chiamati in Israele. I giusti vengono onorati con degli alberi d'ulivo nella strada dei giusti a Gerusalemme. Schindle piantò il suo albero nel 1959 e gli ebrei salvati da lui ancora di definiscono "gli ebrei di Schindler".

The film "Schindler's List" portrays the life of the German businessman Oskar Schindler who, until Spielberg's film was unheard of. During the tyranny, he shows courage and humanity risking his own life to save almost one thousand two hundred Jewish people (the famous list) which would have died in the Auscwitz concentration camp.

Oskar Schindler moved to Cracovia to get rich but instead he saved Jewish people destined to die. He started to have contacts with other Nazi officials corrupting them with luxurious gifts. Continuing about his business, he started to save the most Jewish people that he could. Losing everything he earned, he bought a pot-making factory and he moved to his native city. At first, he started to hire hundreds of Jewish people as workers in his factory. He pretended to exploit them but instead he saved them. When the persecution became terrible, his idea became a real mission: he bought the lives of almost one thousand two hundred Jewish people and brought them to his factory.

Today, in the war criminal encyclopaedia, the names of the "The Just out of all the people" as the they are called in Israel are missing . "The Just" are honoured with olive trees on the street of "The Just" in Jerusalem. Schindler ted his tree in 1959 and the Jewish people saved by him still call themselves "the Jewish people of Schindler".
